Week 598 Weekly Menu

Hey meal planning compadres. I totally didn’t plan a menu last week. My apologies! But I’m back. Let’s get this menu done. I’m sick of my kids asking me what’s for dinner and not having an answer!

Weekly Dinner Plan for the week of 11/5/18: Monday - Rachel Sandwiches; Tuesday - Kebabs; Wednesday - Naan Pizzas; Thursday - Chicken Tortilla Soup; Friday - Leftovers; Saturday - Eat out; Sunday - Chili

MONDAY:
Rachel Sandwiches

TUESDAY:
– Grilled Chicken & Vegetable Kebabs
– Roasted Potatoes

WEDNESDAY:
Naan Pizzas
– Salad

THURSDAY:
Chicken Tortilla Soup

FRIDAY:
– Leftovers

SATURDAY:
– Eat out night

SUNDAY:
Chili
– GF Cornbread (I learned I have a wheat allergy…so going to find a good cornbread recipe that doesn’t use wheat flour, wish me luck! or share a link in the comments if you have one!)

    Monday: Bean and Rice Burritos with Tomato and Avocado
    Tuesday: Steak Diane with Crispy Onions and Smashed Potatoes (Chrissy Teigen)
    Wednesday: Sausages with Lentils and Spinach
    Thursday: Clam Linguine with Casino Bread Crumbs (Chrissy Teigen)
    Friday: Shrimp and White Bean Salad with Arugula and Garlic Toasts
    Saturday-Sunday: At my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary!

    Monday: West of the Pecos Enchiladas, carrots, salad

    Tuesday: Baked Ham, Baked Penne with Broccoli & Three Cheeses, salad

    Wednesday: Ham Sandwiches, All American Potato Salad, pickle spears

    Thursday: leftovers

    Friday: out to eat

    Saturday: Gameday Tailgate-Easy Crockpot Meatballs and Gravy plus other stuff

    Sunday: Chicken with Figs and Balsamic Vinegar, asparagus, salad and Pecan Pie

    Breakfast: Bacon Biscuit Breakfast, Velveeta Bacon and Ham Grits Casserole

    If you have a wegmans near you, their gluten free cornbread mix is great!

    Sun: Tomato soup, toasted cheddar swirl bread
    Mon: Chicken Parmesan meatballs, garlic bread, salad
    Tue: Salmon, green beans
    Wed: Sweet potato chicken noodle soup
    Thu: Leftovers
    Fri: Scallops, corn, salad
    Sat: Pepperoni & egg toast cups, fruit

    Monday- shrimp Alfredo, steamed broccoli
    Tuesday- baked pork chops, yellow rice, green beans seasoned with dried Italian dressing
    Wednesday- slow cooker Tomato Basil Parmesan soup, garlic toast
    Thursday- grilled chicken over spring greens, with strawberries, mandarin oranges, toasted pecans and blue cheese crumbles
    Friday- Sunday- hubby is in China- pot luck meals for me.

    I plan four meals for the week – my married daughter cooks for the family one night a week, and my husband is in charge of Saturday and Sunday dinners. I don’t assign a meal to a particular day, I just pick what I want to prepare that morning. I do prep what I can ahead of time to save time.

    Chicken pot pie
    Deviled chicken thighs, brussel sprouts, potatoes
    Sausage, baked potatoes, carrots
    Pizza crescents, broccoli, corn

    Tues – Lasagna
    Wed – Roast Chicken & Veggies
    Thurs – Pizza, Salad
    Fri – Pot Roast, Carrots & Potatoes
    Sat – Eat Out
    Sun – Chicken, Rice, Broccoli Casserole

    Tuesday – Election Day – Worked at the polls and went out for dinner
    Wednesday – too many meetings! Leftovers
    Thursday – Pot roast in the slowcooker
    Friday – out!
    Saturday – leftovers

    Sat – pumpkin chili from freezer
    Sun – butternut squash pasta w/ spinach & white beans, grilled chicken
    Mon – Minestrone Soup
    Tues – Quinoa taco stuffed peppers w/ guac & chips
    Wed – pita pizzas & fattoush salad
    Thurs – Kale Barley salad (side of grilled chicken)
    Fri – leftover soup, veg dogs/tots
