Week 613 Weekly Dinner Menu

Week 613 Weekly Dinner Menu

MONDAY:
Spaghetti Bolognese (going to try with ground turkey and see if anyone notices…all part of my new year’s resolution, which includes cutting back on beef)
– Salad

TUESDAY:
Lentil Rice Bowls with Lime Tahini Dressing

WEDNESDAY:
Grilled Jerk Chicken
– Rice and green beans

THURSDAY:
– Leftovers

FRIDAY:
– Movie night at the school, which includes pizza for the kids!

SATURDAY:
– Eat out

SUNDAY:
Homemade Pizza – Margherita and Honey Goat Cheese w/Caramelized Onions

  1. Thanks for sharing your menu for this week! Hope you all enjoy your movie night at school! I am wondering how the Lentil Rice Bowls are, have you made them before? We are going to have to be cutting back sodium and eating a bit more healthy, so I’m looking for some new healthy recipes to try!

      We have tried the lentil rice bowls, the recipe is on the site, my family loved them, we made them without chicken and everyone was super happy with our veggie dinner :).

    • movie night is wreck it ralph 2 – should be fun! 🙂 the lentil rice bowls are AWESOME, my new favorite dinner with really good leftovers. it’s also a super customizable recipe, flexible for whatever you have on hand. the tahini-lime dressing is really easy to make and so delish. it’s my own recipe inspired by a restaurant I love…I think you’ll love it!

    I enjoyed your podcast while tidying up the house yesterday. The “PS” at the end made me laugh.

    Sun: Sour cream cilantro chicken & black bean enchiladas
    Mon: White bean soup, crusty bread
    Tue: Shrimp & pineapple stir fry, rice
    Wed: Garlic chicken meatballs with kale polenta
    Thu: Baked cod or halibut (whatever I still have in the freezer) with kale pesto, mixed veggies
    Fri: Chicken sausage, gorgonzola, & grape pizza, salad
    Sat: Out: Philadelphia Flower Show

    • awwww, so glad you listened! even to the bitter end – haha! I just couldn’t let that lie…and then realized “normal” is a very deep rabbit hole. haha!

    Tuesday: Bacony Clam Chowder and Biscuits
    Wednesday: Cincinatti Chili, Pasta and Salad
    Thursday: Deep Dish Pizza and Broccoli
    Friday: Fried Shrimp Po’ Boys and Fried Green Tomatoes
    Saturday: Chorizo and Lentils with Celery Root and Apple Salad
    Sunday: Pepperoni Pizza Pasta with Green Beans

    Tuesday: Lettuce cups (ground beef, cheese, chopped red pepper, quinoa, pickled onions)

    Thursday: Individual pizzas and green bean fries
    Friday: Leftovers
