It’s starting to get annoying how well I am sticking to my weekly menu. Too much thinking on Sunday to come up with a new menu! But, I must say, it’s been great cooking so consistently. I gotta keep this up!

Can I ask about the clay pots? Where do you get them, what else do you cook in them and how much are they?

We bought our Romertopf from Great News before it went out of business. They have it at Williams-Sonoma for $55.
Just remember to soak it for 20 minutes before use and put it into the oven when the oven is cold, and then turn on the oven.

We do roast chickens mostly. There is a lamb and potato recipe we found somewhere that my wife loves. I’ve done ribs and cornish game hens. It can be good for stews, too.

Sunday- Grandkids over for dinner! They requested a fall dinner! Cornish Game Hens roared in apple cider, roasted sweet potatoes and white potatoes, and broccoli. Apple crumble with vanilla ice cream for dessert!

Its getting cool in Ohio now, so I want alllll the soups and comfort foods. We went to a corn farm after preschool today and bought pumpkins and pickled green beans. These beans are everything I didn’t know I was missing from my life. Haha.
Monday: Chicken stroganoff and the last of the green beans from our garden
Tuesday: Cheesy chicken tortilla soup
Wednesday: I got an edible pumpkin at the farm today, so some kind of pumpkin soup and homemade french bread.
Thursday: Going to the indoor waterpark for a school fundraiser!
