I officially hate cooking. Or maybe I am totally unmotivated. Either way, our menu looks something like this…
Tonight, leftovers from ordering takeout from Cracker Barrel (meatloaf, Mac and cheese, green beans)
Tomorrow, ready made meals I bought from Sprouts (chicken Alfredo and Greek chicken)
Tuesday-Friday, maybe takeout, maybe we don’t eat dinner, maybe some random thing we find in the fridge/freezer. Totally up in the air.
Saturday, probably takeout.
I wish I was kidding.
bwahahaha! I love your menu SO much and I was there two weeks ago. In a MAJOR way. Just give yourself a week of takeout, not eating, whatever you want! You deserve it! 🙂
I’ve been getting burned out on cooking, too. Today, I made it an art project, but that made more dishes….
No shame in ready made or grabbing from the pantry. We all need a break sometimes!

It’s just SO MANY MEALS in the kitchen these days. We’re all getting tired!
We got a 50 pound bag of black beans at CostCo last week (since we couldn’t find beans elsewhere) and that’s mostly what’s informing our menu:
Monday: Butter beans with kale and cornbread
Tuesday: Leftover black bean soup and cornbread
Wednesday: Leftover pizza
Thursday: Leftover black bean burgers and potato fries
Friday: Salsa chicken and rice
Saturday: TBD
Sunday: TBD

Sun: roasted tomatoes and onions with sausage over pasta
Mon: Grilled tri-tip, Kraft mac & cheese, broccoli
Tues: shrimp with fennel and leeks over farfalle

Sunday – just married son and wife brought hoagies – we picnicked in the yard together from a safe social distance!
Monday – ran out of salmon a few weeks ago. But today we have lots of leftovers from last week so we are having leftover pizza and a little leftover lamb biryani!
Tuesday- making fish and chips with frozen cod and salad
Wednesday – Pork chops, asparagus and mashed potatoes
Thursday – ordering out to support local restaurants!
Friday – spaghetti and salad

Week #408,472 of Quarantine 🙂 This is actually Week #5 and I’m just now starting to repeat menu items. Not bad!! We aren’t a big “eating out” family, but these days I look forward to take-out all week!
Sunday: Orange chicken, rice, and broccoli
Monday: Mac and cheese casserole and roasted Brussels sprouts
Tuesday: Enchiladas (shredded chicken) and Parmesan cauliflower (ATK recipe)
Wednesday: Lettuce cups (shredded chicken, rice, cheese, avocado, tomatoes, olives)
Thursday: Tilapia foil packets with asparagus and mashed potatoes
