Week 689 Weekly Menu

The heat is ON and there is no way I’m standing over a stove this week, especially with school starting. So we are going with all kinds of non-cooking dinners and cheats this week!

Week 689 Weekly Menu - Monday: korean bbq tacos; Tuesday - asian chicken salad; Wednesday - hot dogs & brats; Thursday - BLTs; Friday - Leftovers; Saturday - Local Takeout; Sunday - Chicken Salad Sandwiches

    Sun: Lemon cod, peas, salad
    Mon: Orange shrimp with veggies, brown rice
    Tue: White chicken chili
    Wed: Scrambled eggs, pancakes, sliced apples
    Thu: Baked salmon with garlic/ginger glaze, green beans
    Fri: English muffin pizzas, salad
    Sat: Chicken burgers, watermelon

    Sun: lobster rolls (Disneyland recipe), coleslaw
    Mon: beef shank in the Instant Pot, grilled potato fans with onions
    Tues: leftover spaghetti sauce
    Wed: whole fish grilled in fig leaves, grilled carrots, leftover potatoes
    Thurs: vegetable lo mein
    Fri: leftovers
    Sat: beef tenderloin in mustard shallot sauce, grilled bok choy

  3. We’re keeping it pretty simple this week….last week of summer vacation!

    Sunday: Skillet roasted chicken and sautéed kale
    Monday: Ginger Fried Rice and mixed vegetables
    Tuesday: BFD (eggs, sausage, toast, avocado) and green beans
    Wednesday: Loaded nachos and butternut squash
    Thursday: Stuffed peppers (ATK recipe) and roasted broccoli
    Friday: Pizzas
    Saturday: Takeout

    We’re going no or low cook to escape the heat here:

    Sunday: Leftover pizza
    Monday: Pumpkin quesadillas with black beans and green chile
    Tuesday: Cilantro lime chicken and black bean tacos (a repeat from last week)
    Wednesday: Cilantro lime chicken sandwiches
    Thursday: Quesadillas (cook once, eat twice!)
    Friday: TBD
    Saturday: breakfast for dinner

    Baked Chicken Parmesan, black-eyed peas
    Sausage, baked potatoes
    Easty Chicken Club wraps, brussel sprouts
    Tuscan Tortellini salad
    Gorton’s fish, pasta salad, peas

    Sunday- Caesar salad, corn on the cob, lobster ravioli and leftover steak
    Monday- dinner at my daughter’s!
    Tuesday- baked salmon, asparagus, rice and salad
    Wednesday-chopped salad with grilled chicken
    Thursday- burgers on the grill
    Friday- take out
    Saturday- clean out the fridge night

    Tuesday: Carne Asada Tacos with Fresh Salsa and Rice and Beans

    Wednesday: Ciabatta Pizzas and Zucchini Tomato Pasta Salad

    Thursday: Beef and Pork Casserole and Peas

    Friday: Fried Chicken, Macaroni and Cheese and Salad

    Saturday: Potato Soup and Copy Cat Cheddar Bay Biscuits

    Sunday: Yellow Chicken and Green Beans

    Thursday – chicken caesar wraps, fruit
    Friday – local takeout
    Saturday – BLATs, potato salad
    Sunday – grilled salmon and squash, rice
