A couple of carry-over ideas from last week. We had more leftovers than I anticipated and an impromptu dinner at my brother’s house. Love those weeks!

Sun: Broiled sockeye salmon, Marcella Hazan’s white beans with garlic and sage, and polenta with chorizo (Marcella Hazan gets a whole chapter in The Kitchen Whisperers. The beans are an heirloom Italian variety that is Hazan’s all-time favorite. Rancho Gordo sells them, but they sell out very quickly and I was lucky to hit their website while reading the book and they were in stock…but now out of stock this week. RG has named these beans the “Marcella” variety).
Mon: London broil on the grill, steamed broccoli, leftover beans on toast
Tues: Smoked king salmon over tossed greens with finger lime vinaigrette
Wed: leftovers
Thurs: Egg foo yung
Fri: Black bean chicken over rice (from Fuchsia Dunlop’s cookbook)
Sat: leftovers
Sunday- slow cooked. Chuck roast with potatoes and carrots
Monday- salmon, Brussels sprouts and rice
Tuesday – massaman curry with chicken and rice
Wednesday- leftover chuck roast
Thursday- scallops with pasta
Friday- take out
Saturday- burgers and fries
Sunday: Instant Pot baked potatoes and toppings
Monday/Wednesday: Chickpea curry and brown rice
Tuesday: Black beans and queso tacos
Thursday: Out for dinner with friends
Friday/Saturday: Leftovers/TBD
Sun: Roasted turkey breast, stuffing, gravy, green beans, cranberry sauce
