Week 744 Weekly Menu

I got sick last week, so a few carry-overs from the last menu…we definitely had more takeout than we were planning on. Feeling better and ready to get back on track.

    So sorry to hear you caught a cold. Bummer! I hope you make a full recovery soon!

    Our menu:

    Sunday: Black bean and egg tacos
    Monday: Chickpea parmesan and steamed broccoli
    Tuesday: Orange glazed mushroom tacos with veggie slaw
    Wednesday: Leftover chickpea parmesan
    Thursday: Big batch white beans or leftovers
    Friday: Huevos verdes tacos
    Saturday: TBD

    Life is always unexpected, so we’ll see if we get through all these recipes. If not, fuel for next week!

    • and I caught ANOTHER cold. curses!

      I actually don’t totally mind if I don’t get through my menu in a week…it totally helps for the following week! 🙂

    I haven’t posted in a very long time. It’s fun seeing your weekly menu as well as others.
    Su: baked chicken strips & parmesan zucchini sticks with a bunch of dipping sauces
    M: ramen bowls w/ eggs, carrots, mushrooms, green onion, cilantro
    Tu: cheesey chicken taquitos w/ guac & soyrizo refried beans
    W: shrimp pad Thai
    Th: Philly cheese steak stuffed peppers and zucchini fries
    Fri & Sat: I’m working, guys are ordering pizza and eating leftovers

    Sunday – pizza and wings
    Monday- Cascatelli pasta with scallops and salad
    Tuesday – zucchini parm with peppers
    Wednesday- Hot dogs and fries ( grandkids staying over for a few days!)
    Thursday- Mac and cheese with ham and broccoli
    Friday – take out after karate belt test!
    Saturday- spaghetti with meatballs
    Sunday – trip to Cape May!

    Monday: Skirt Steak with Pinto Bean Salad, Guacamole and Chips

    Tuesday: Pork Tenderloin with Apples and Shallots and Green Beans and Garlic Bread

    Wednesday: Pork Chops with Chorizo Rice and Corn

    Thursday: Chicken Thighs with Fennel and Apple Slaw and Crusty Bread

    Friday: Glazed Pork Chops with Cabbage Salad

    Saturday: Balsamic Steak Tips with Tomato Salad

    Sunday: Italian Sub Sandwiches and Fresh Fruit

    Wed: Cod piccata, brown rice, broccoli
    Thu: Shrimp tacos with slaw
    Fri: Cod, roasted potatoes, coleslaw
    Sat: Take out

    The first half of the week was camping in Yosemite

    Sun: Pulled pork in the Dutch oven over the campfire; kale salad with poppyseed dressing
    Mon: Pan-fried steak, leftover salad
    Tues: Gnocchi with marinara sauce; Asian salad with sesame dressing
    Wed: takeout on the way home
    Thurs: Eggplant parmigiana, pasta with marinara sauce
    Fri: leftover eggplant and pasta
    Sat: Chicken Vesuvio
