Week 79 Menu…Cape Cod here I come!

I’m putting the menu post up a little early this week…Saturday instead of Sunday…because I’m headed to Cape Cod in about 10 minutes! Make sure to check in this week and see what yummy edibles I find on the Cape!

    Hi there, first time commenter though I've been reading for a few weeks now. Can I just say how jealous I am that you're traveling this summer?? =)

    Okay, here's my menu for the week:
    Mon: Salmon Caesar Salads
    Tue: Thai Steak Wraps
    Wed: BBQ Chicken Kabobs, Corn, & Pasta Salad
    Thu: Whole Wheat Pasta Salad
    Fri: Garlic Dill Salmon
    Sat: Buffalo Chicken Pizza
    Sun: Chipotle-Lime Chicken w/ Jamaican Rice

    Look forward to seeing what others are cookin' up!

    Monday – Tofu stir-fry over rice
    Tuesday – Mushroom chicken and fresh green beans
    Wednesday – Pesto pasta
    Thursday – Leftovers
    Friday – OUT OF TOWN! going to SAN DIEGO!!
    Saturday – Eating with family
    Sunday – Eating with family πŸ™‚

    Could it be a coincidence that the first week’s menu I decide to post is the same week I’m also going out of town? I plan to be around so keep the look out!

    Monday: Chicken pot pie, fruit

    Tuesay: French dip sandwiches, cucumber tomato salad, chips

    Wednesday: Spanish tortilla, salad, bread

    Thursday: leftovers

    Friday: Family reuinion

    Monday: Burgers,roasted oven potoatos, tomato and cucumber salad

    Tuesday: Low Fat beef calzones, tossed salad

    Wednesday: Chicken Fajita pizza, corn

    Thursday: roasted chicken salad with chipotle dressing, fresh italian rolls

    Friday and Saturday- eating out

    Wednesday: Chicken quesadillas, green salad, fruit
    Thursday: Tuna in a pita, fruit salad
    Friday: Homemade pizza
    Saturday: Pancakes, eggs, fruit

    Hi everyone, I’m new to this blog, but TOTALLY get it…

    Here’s my menu:

    Sunday: Ground Turkey Sheppard’s Pie
    Monday: Broiled shrimp scampi
    Tuesday: Portabella Reubins
    Wednesday: Sweet and Sour Tofu (or chicken, depending on how I feel)
    Thursday: Flank Steak with veggie hashbrowns (and a green salad)
    Friday: Takeout/DH Cooks

    Sounds like you are still having a grand time! Here's my menu this week:

    Mon-veggie & chicken quiche
    Tues- layered ham salad w/ chips
    Wed- beef and potato casserole
    Thurs-fish with zucchini couscous
    Fri- breakfast
    Sat- cheesy chicken oven fries
    Sun- lasagna

    Just like Erin (post #1), I have been reading for a couple of weeks and am posting for the first time.
    Here goes:

    Monday: I'm trying out the "Zesty Potatoes" and "Shrimp with Honey Mustard" recipes I found enclosed in my package of Ziploc Zip n Steam bags. Love those things!

    Tuesday: Chicken enchiladas and spanish rice

    Wednesday: Leftovers

    Thursday: Catfish & rice pilaf

    Friday: Frozen pizza

    Hey, I’m new to the posting scene but have also been reading/trying recipes for a month now. My husband is delighted that I found this site since it has inspired me to meal plan! Thanks for all your great ideas!

    So here’s my menu for this week:
    Mon: Caribbean jerk chicken with veggies
    Tues: Donald Trump’s chefs Turkey burgers with ceasar salad
    Wed:Shrimp with feta (real simple)
    Thu: either chicken casserole or Bistro chicken and salad
    Fri: Baseball game food
    Sat. Eat out!!
    Sun: fish tacos

    Sunday – Green Bean & Edamame salad over toast (toast has a feta and yogurt spread)
    Monday – Sausage, apple, and zucchini kabobs
    Tuesday – Alfredo
    Wednesday – Beach party!
    Thursday – Grilled Burrito
    Friday – going out
    Saturday – Grilled chicken salad

    Hey, you're right down the um, highway from me now! Enjoy the cape..we're going camping in Falmouth in 2 weeks!

    Mon: Corned beef, potatoes, carrots
    Tue: Steak tips, mashed, corn
    Wed: Boneless spareribs, noodles, some veggie
    Thur: Spaghetti & salad
    Fri: Grilled chicken, roasted potatoes
    Sat: eat out I'm sure

    What great pictures – now I want to go to Paris! Thanks for sharing them with the fun comments.

    My menu this week:
    Monday (was) leftover shredded pork bbq, corn on the cob (yum – in season now in NJ/PA!), fresh mozz & tomato salad

    Tuesday – BLT's (our garden tomatoes are also coming in!), more corn on the cob

    Wednesday – trying a new recipe for Parmesan Crusted Chicken – if it works out I'll share it! (Glad to see the Bistro Chicken getting use!)

    Thursday – eating out

    Friday – More BLT's!

    Homemade chicken noodle soup (I’m freezing some for when I have my baby in TWO WEEKS!)

    French dip sandwiches
    Fresh corn salad

    Mozzarella, tomato, basil pizza (olive oil instead of sauce)

    Hi Jane! Your trip to Paris was exactly the type of trip I would take if I went there right now. How did it go with an infant? Here’s my menu:

    Sunday: (was) Dinner on Mission Bay in San Diego at a fish market

    Monday: (was) Dinner at Luigi’s on the Beach, right across from the Giant Dipper in Belmont Park. Maybe you’ve been there? Superb pizza!

    Tuesday(was): Home from vacation at 7 PM – leftover spaghetti from last week.

    Wednesday: Homemade pizza with pizza dough from Trader Joe’s

    Thursday: Whatever fresh fish (probably yellow tail or Dorado) my husband caught on his fishing trip. He’ll be home Wed. night.

    Friday: Taco salad

    Saturday: Dinner out, hopefully without kids!

    I’m so happy you’re enjoying the travel posts. It sure is fun to share the food with you, if only virtually.

    jen from mass…falmouth for two weeks? be still my beating heart. what a wonderful vacation…I would love to settle in falmouth permanently one day. a dream, for sure.

    julie b – anna was AWESOME on the trip. she behaved on the plane rides (PHEW) and was such a champ sitting in her stroller for hours and hours and hours and hours ( you get the point). I think her age was the key…too young to move around much, so she didn’t mind not being able to move. anyway, I cannot complain. she was an angel.

    This is my first time posting too. I was uninspired crafting this week’s menu and all the comments did the trick.

    Monday: Tomato Mozzarella, Orzo with pesto chicken and tomatoes
    Tuesday: Taco Night
    Wednesday: Tortilla Espanola and Caesar Salad
    Thursday: Grilled Cornish Game Hens with Zucchini with parmesan crust
    Friday: Eat Out
    Saturday: Eat Out
    Sunday: Pizza or grill steaks at home
