Week 14 Menu

Hey everyone, I need to hit the road. It is 5:00 PM and we still aren’t gone…we’ll see how far we get tonight. It’s been a GREAT trip (despite Cate and I both catching the stomach flu). I AM looking forward to being home. To all my Utah friends…sorry I didn’t call ANY of you…I was too busy playing Guitar Hero II.

Here’s my menu for the week. Who knows if I’ll stick with it. My dad will be with us for the week, so maybe he can do a little cooking… 🙂 Please post your menus!

– Whole wheat spaghetti & tomato sauce
– Caprese salad & french bread

– TJ’s Orange Chicken with rice
– Veggie Stir-Fry

– Hawaiian Pizza

    Hi! My sis-in-law just introduced me to this blog a few days ago and I’m thoroughly enjoying all your dinner ideas and recipes.
    Here’s my plan for the week:

    – Chicken and dumplings
    – Steamed broccoli and carrots
    – Roasted new potatoes (leftover)

    – BLT’s (turkey for adults)
    – Raw veggies for dipping
    – Fruit salad: oranges, bananas, blueberries

    – Mango chutney & curry chicken (crockpot) with bell pepper, chick peas, snow peas, onion
    – rice
    – green salad

    – Penne pasta with Garlic chicken, fresh tomato and spinach
    – sauteed green beans

    – Cookout with friends

    – Grilled cheese
    – assorted leftovers

    – Roast
    – Gravy & rice (southern thing!)
    – Rolls
    – Glazed carrots
    – Green salad
    – Asparagus

    Wow, that is some menu Nena!

    Okay, I posted mine on my blog earlier today, but I’ve done some switcheroos, so here goes nothing-

    Monday- Zucchini Lasagna with salad

    Tuesday- Crustless Broccoli Cheddar Quiche with salad

    Wednesday- Honey Mustard Chicken with veggie brown rice and red grapes

    Thursday- Roasted Pork Tenderloin with Black Eyed Pea Salad

    Monday: southwestern chowder with tortilla chips

    Tuesday: veggie chow mein, fruit kebabs

    Wednesday: pizza, breadsticks and caesar salad

    Thursday: Picnic- subs, fruit, trail mix, carrot sticks

    Friday: Leftovers

    Saturday: CInco De Mayo!
    We’re having a combo of texmex/mexican food

    jalapeno poppers
    mexican rice
    authentic enchiladas
    7 layer dip

    Sunday: Slow cooker Thai pork, rice, roasted broccoli

    crazy crazy week. we are going to be here and there, so everything is frozed TJ specials…

    monday- gone, so no cooking
    tuesday – the same
    wednesday – orange mandarian chicken, stir fry veggies
    thursday – chicken fajitas
    friday – chicken tikka masala and naan
    saturday – pizza

    nothing exciting… here’s to hopping next week is better.

    Crazy week at our house. . . but here’s our menu anyway:

    Monday: Leftover Lasagna (again!)
    Tuesday: Kitchen Sink Quesadillas (thanks for the idea & recipe!!)
    Wednesday: BBQ Chicken Sandwiches, Fruit Salad, Carrots w/dip
    Thursday: End of Year School Party- no cooking
    Friday: ???

    Hopefully, next week will be better . . .
    Saturday: Date night.

    I can’t ever seem to get my act together, but this week I actually planned out my meals again! (It’s only Thursday and I’m only now getting around to doing this…)

    This week we had/are having:

    -Sweet Pork Salad ala Cafe Rio
    -Chicken Gyros with Tzatziki (sp?)
    -Clam Chowder with Leeks and Green Peppers
    -Creamy pasta with broccoli and chicken
    -BLT sandwiches
