I’ve always wanted to go to the Cape. Some day…busy week for us too with my mom’s 84th birthday as well as friends visiting but we did get our menu planned and grocery shopping complete.
Saturday: tri tip and salad with an awesome maple dressing

Ah, I’m so jealous of those views !! (in a good way). I spent two summers living on Cape Cod and love it there. Definitely holds a place in my heart.
Sunday – Grill chicken, asparagus, bake sweet potatoes, watermelon.
Monday – Grill hot dogs, chips, fruit/salad.
Tuesday – Pizza and salad ?? Not sure.
Wednesday – Grill steaks, corn on the cob, leftover salad or fruit.
Thursday and Friday kids and I fend for ourselves while husband works super late. Probably frozen Trader Joe’s meals.

Your menu has my mouth watering! Where can I find recipes for the carrot dill soup and english peas galettes with bacon & lemon sour cream? They sound divine!
Thanks! Both are new recipes I’m excited to try. I just went to Parties that Cook and made yummy corn galettes and found the pea ones online. I’m using blanched English Peas for frozen and bacon for prosciutto.

After a week in Rehoboth Beach, Del., we are on a weeklong TBD. There’s chicken, pork tenderloins and hot dogs in the freezer. I’m sure we’ll make do, but no specific plans.

We were out at a music festival all weekend – eating out – so need to get cooking again!

Beautiful! I love the East Coast but we’re leaving for the West Coast this week so a short menu-planning week (and it involves using all the stuff I have left in the fridge and pantry āā it will be creative!).
Sunday: Garlic shrimp pasta with roasted asparagus.
Monday: Shrimp and tofu curry over rice with nann, grilled baby zucchini and pears.
Tuesday: Either meatball subs or sausage on the grill (I have both in the freezer) with salads and cantaloupe.
Wednesday: Couscous with grilled veggies (will finish them all up) and yogurt sauce, with whatever fruit we have left to use.
Thursday: Stepson’s 17th birthday so we’re going out to dinner āā probably the gourmet burger place.
Friday: Eating dinner in Big Sur, California at the Big Sur River Inn.
