Good morning!

weekly dinner plan from @janeymaynard with FREE printable menu and shopping list!

So, I actually planned my menu yesterday and got all the grocery shopping done already. Monday: Pounded thin chicken breasts, breaded, and oven fried with garlic rice, and green peas.

Tuesday: Baked spaghetti with beef, corn, and parmesan garlic bread.

Friday: Leftovers, but it’s payday, so we may treat ourselves out.

I agree with you and Tara!……and it is this blog that taught me the importance of planning meals. I feel good knowing I have a plan & everything we need for the week so when it’s crazy busy, we still eat well.

Before I started meal planning and shopping for the whole week on a Saturday or Sunday, we spent much more money on food. I would go to the store every other day and get items on a whim….no idea until I was in the store. Crazy.

Wednesday: Beef and Onion Pasties and Salad
Thursday: Tortilla Crusted Chicken Tenders and Chorizo Potatoes and Corn
Friday: Oven Roasted Barbecue Salmon and Peas
    Saturday: Out To Eat
    Sunday: Meatball Lasagna and Broccoli

  12. This week begins a month of eating from the freezer. There will be some items from the pantry, but most meals are based off what I already have in the freezer. (Salads obviously are not from the freezer.)

Part of next month will involve another kid during the day. I was hoping to not need to go shopping much during those times, as this kid has as much energy as the current preschooler I have at home. It is hard enough going with that one, I don’t relish going with two of them who have that level of energy. 🙂

Orange chicken and taco night sound very yummy right now.
