Week 92 Menu

I am a pear junkie right now. I’m eating them every day. My new favorite variety is Comice. Not sure I had heard of it before, but it is a great pear. The skins are a little thick, but the fruit itself is oustanding. Bartlett is my second fave. And I hate D’Anjou. Blech. Anyway, grab yourself some Comice pears. Mmmmm.

On to the menu!

– Happy Halloween!

– Halloween Cookies & Candy!

– Leftovers (between chili and pizza, I think we’ll have two nights’ worth of leftovers this week)

– Bertucci’s Tortellini (Cheese tortellini, red sauce with a little cream added, mushrooms quartered, italian sausage)
– Salad

    Tuesday: Chicken stir fry
    Wednesday: Broken Florentine lasagna
    Thursday: Halloween party–Chili cook off!
    Friday: Eat out
    Saturday: Tailgate foods–I’m probably making Mac & Cheese

    Monday-Creamy Chicken Apple chili, salad
    Tuesday- Recipe Club for me, so leftovers for the family
    Wednesday-Crockpot Salsa Chicken, spanish rice
    Thursday-Chicken Cheesesteaks, Autumn pasta salad
    Friday-Company’s Coming:Balsamic Glazed Pork Tenderloin, Butternut Squash risotto, spinach salad, Pumpkin cheesecake
    Saturday-Pumpkin Soup or leftovers!

    Ok here we go….

    Sunday–Homemade chicken noodle soup

    Monday–leftover chicken noodle soup

    Tuesday–shephard’s pie, vegg

    Wednesday–leftover shephard’s pie (if any left) or chicken cobb salad

    Thursday–Tuna melts & tomato soup

    Friday–halloween…probably have pizza

    Saturday–Turkey sloppy joes

    Sunday–??????? eat out, maybe

    Can’t wait for the Thai Chicken Pizza recipe.

    Saturday – Caprese Salad and fruit
    Sunday – Jane’s creamy chicken enchiladas
    Monday – Cheese and Spinach Calzones
    Tuesday – Pumpkin Chili
    Wednesday – Edamame and Green Bean Salad over bread with feta spread
    Thursday – Grilled Chicken and Spaghetti Squash
    Friday – Tuna Melt and tomato soup

    ok…still cleaning out the pantry and freezer. This is the last week for sure!!
    mon- chicken stir fry over noodles
    Tues- grilled cheese/ tomato soup
    Wed- chicken pot pie
    Thurs- meeting, Hubby cooks
    Fri- Halloween Fun Food (pizza)
    Sat- date night, kids mac-n-cheese, chicken strips
    Sun- homemade chicken noodle soup

    Can you tell I still have a ton of Chicken in the freezer? 🙂

    The menu for the week:
    I’m making a big batch of butternut squash apple soup for lunch all week – I’ll be sharing my recipe on my Tasty Tuesday post!

    Monday: Hamburgers for the kids, Kielbasa for the adults, Sauteed apples on the side.
    Tuesday: Trader Joe’s homemade pizzas (roll out your own dough… fun for the kids!)
    Wednesday: Girl’s Night Out for me… fish sticks for everyone else.
    Thursday: Turkey Sloppy Joe’s with cheddar buttermilk biscuits
    Friday: Halloween! Domino’s Pizza with lots of candy!

  7. No menu this week. . . I’m at my parents! YAY.
    I can’t wait for Thai Chicken Pizza, that’ll be first on the menu for next week.

    -Cuban Black Beans & Rice

    -Tomato Soup
    -Grilled Cheese

    -Eggplant Bolognese on Rigatoni


    -Out for Halloween!

    Monday – leftover parmesan-crusted chicken (very similar recipe!), baked sweet potatoes, green beans on side
    Tuesday – meeting friends out for spaghetti & meatballs, yum
    Wednesday – stuffed shells, green salad
    Thursday – corned beef, cabbage & potatoes in the crock pot
    Friday – reuben sandwiches (leftover corned beef, yum)
    Saturday – will do a big pot of “whatever is in the refrigerator” soup!

    I am going now to check out some of the pumpkin recipes!

    Tuesday: Chicken Cordon Bleu and Salad
    Wednesday: Pot Roast, Carrots and Potatoes
    Thursday: Chicken Pomodoro and Zucchini
    Friday: Salisbury Steaks and Green Beans
    Saturday: Breakfast for dinner
    Sunday: Left Overs

    Monday: Fall Mushroom and tomato risotto
    Tuesday: Chinese chicken salad
    Wednesday: cilantro pesto on grilled veggie sandwiches
    Thursday: Sausage/pepper/onion sandwiches
    Friday: My parents come and we’ll get the family fav Papa Murphey’s veggie pizza
    Saturday: Sundried tomato couscous and soup
    Sunday: Lasagna, salad, garlic bread, and texas sheet cake

  12. Sunday: leftover tofu stir-fry

    Monday: Spinach and mozarella stuffed shells w/meat sauce, asiago and pear(!) stuffed shells in a yummy vodka cream sauce

    Tuesday: leftovers

    Wednesday: meatloaf surprise (it’s filled w/cheese!), vegies

    Thursday: leftovers

    Friday: party!

    Saturday: ?

    Sunday: ?
