Week 95 Menu

No picture today.  I just got home from a FANTASTIC weekend in San Diego and my memory card is buried in my bags.  But I need to get a menu up, so pictures will have to wait!

This week’s going to be great here on TWFD. I have a few San Diego eats to share, a perfectly LOVELY giveaway and Thanksgiving deliciousness in the works.  Make sure you check in!

MONDAY:
– Chicken Marsala (Trader Joe’s simmer sauce)
– Whole wheat pasta
– Broccoli

TUESDAY:
Lentil Soup
– Whole Wheat French Bread

WEDNESDAY:
Orange Chicken
– Rice
– Veggie

THURSDAY:
– Leftovers

FRIDAY:
– Breakfast for dinner…maybe waffles? something egg-based? we shall see…

SATURDAY:
– Eat out

SUNDAY:
Kitchen Sink Quesadillas
– Guacamole & chips

    Broccoli Rice Casserole and Onion Cheese Bread

    Tuesday:
    Garlic Rosemary Roast Chicken with Potatoes and Spinach Salad

    Wednesday:
    Lime Beef Tacos with Guacamole and Pico de Gallo

    Thursday:
    Clam Chowder

    Friday:
    Chicken with 40 Cloves Garlic, egg noodles, and green beans

    Saturday:
    Out to eat

    Sunday:
    Left Overs

    Monday…leftover baked beans and smoked shoulder – YUM!
    Tuesday…meatloaf with mash and shoepeg corn
    Wednesday…Chicken with Mushrooms and Almond sauce (a la Anne Burrell), garlicky green beans and probably a rice pilaf
    Thursday…I gotta say I am not feeling the love from the old crock pot but I’m going to try it again with a Beef Brisket and some turnips and potatoes…with cabbage and beets on the side…a NE boiled dinner kinda…
    Friday…is geturoni…looks like we’ll be having a lot of good leftovers this week!

    Wow, last week I didn’t post or make my menu and the quality of our meals definitely suffered! Plus we spent more money eating out more.

    Mon- Chicken Tikka Marsala, rice, naan, and this chocolate mint cake I’m so excited to make!

    Tue- Sweet pepper and celery soup, salad

    Wed- Lentil soup

    Thurs- Beef Stroganoff

    Fri- Szechuan noodles

    Sat- Dinner with in-laws!

    Sun- Another dinner with in-laws…they are great cooks!

    I think I have finally gotten myself organized enough to post my menu!
    Monday:
    shredded bbq pork on rolls and corn

    Tuesday:
    Homemade pizza, with whatever toppings I have on hand

    Wednesday:
    17 Bean & Barley Soup with corn cakes

    Thursday:
    leftovers

    Friday:
    eat out – driving from CA to AZ

    Saturday:
    dinner at grandma’s house!

    Hi – just got back from my very last work travel week pre-baby! So I’ll be home for a while and can plan meals, it makes me feel so much better. I hate the ?? entries!

    Monday – bbq beef brisket, sweet potato fries

    Tuesday – leftovers as sandwich, corn

    Wednesday – frozen pizza (this is our busy night for some reason, we’ve got dance class, haircuts, you name it!)

    Thursday – stuffed pork chops, acorn squash roasted in the oven

    Friday – hm, maybe soup & grilled cheese?

    Saturday – inlaws coming, will eat out

    –chicken tortilla soup

    –grilled chicken, stir-fried bok choy with spicy peanut sauce (over rice or rice noodles)

    –salmon with yogurt citrus sauce, potato & sweet potato gratin

    –indian potato patties (aloo ki tikki) with mint cilantro chutney, braised cabbage, naan

    –goat cheese omelets, green salad, (i’d love to have it with homemade wheat bread, but i always think it’ll take forever and don’t attempt it)

    I just found your blog and LOVE IT. I have been meal planning for about 5 years now. What a great blog (I wish I had thought of it!).
    Sunday – Butternut squash lasagna, salad, garlic bread
    Monday – Pork chops, sweet potatoes, salad
    Tuesday – leftovers
    Wednesday – Gnocchi with pesto, green beans and spinach (Real Simple recipe)
    Thursday – White beans with chard
    Friday – make your own pizza
    Saturday – dinner out

    Hmmm, several people with squash on their menus…any good recipes to share?? I have one and want more (tasty) ways to eat such a healthy vegetable.

    This week i am being a little lazy…the hubby is out of town, so we will be eating a little less scheduled…

    Mon–homemade pizza
    Tues–take out chinese
    Wed–guinness beef stew (that i never made last week)
    Thurs–left over stew
    Fri–orange chicken, rice,
    Sat–not sure, but i am sure i will think of something.

  13. I’m having a heck of a time figuring out what won’t make me sick this week…sorry it’s late

    Monday – White salmon stew with macaroni noodles

    Tuesday – left overs(stew and stir fry from last week)

    Wednesday – seven layer dip

    Thursday – Tandoori chicken(experiment), rice, and green salad

    Friday – ??

    Weekends a la hubby.

    So busy this week, only cooking a few nights since Josh has lots of lessons and rehearsals.

    Making:
    -Rigatoni w/ Sausage, Peppers & Onions, Salad
    -Minestrone w/ White Beans and Collard Greens, Salad
    -Chicken Soup w/ Grilled Cheese?

    Tuesday – chicken enchiladas and spanish rice
    Wednesday – leftovers
    Thursday – rockfish, grean beans, corn
    Friday – pancakes
    Saturday – beef stew (lunch and dinner)
    Sunday – waffles and bacon. Think I’ll add some pumpkin to my waffles and see what happens.

    Th-Chicken Hominy Chili, Polenta, Salad
    F–Eat out
    Sat–Pizza
    Sun–some type of pasta dinner
