Week 375 Menu

How is it Sunday already? GoodNESS.

I have NO carry-overs from last week’s menu. I think that might be a meal planning miracle. πŸ˜‰

  1. Sunday: Burgers on the grill (because it’s 43 degrees in Chicago…time to break out the grill!) with homemade buns and Carrot Mash with Mint/Orange
    Monday: Crab melts and roasted asparagus
    Tuesday: Sushi bowls and Asian style green beans
    Wednesday: Vegetable lasagna
    Thursday: Dragon noodles for the adults (tamer noodles for the kids) and broccolini
    Friday: Leftovers
    Saturday: Out

    Sunday – Chicken Parm, salad
    Monday – Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn
    Tuesday – Tuna casserole with peas
    Wednesday – Crockpot pork chops and potatoes
    Thursday – Pizza, salad
    Friday – Salmon burgers, fries, applesauce
    Saturday – Tacos, refried beans

    Sunday – Lamb stew with pappardelle pasta, green salad
    Monday – Costco Beef Bolgogi (koren BBQ), rice and cucumber salad
    Tuesday – left overs from day before
    Wednesday – Asparagus and chicken
    Thursday -left overs (if any from earlier in week) or soup and sandwiches
    Friday – Shrimp pasta with arugula and lemon oil
    Saturday – Hamburgers

    Monday – salmon with fries and salad
    Tuesday – chicken parmesan and asparagus
    Wednesday – slow cooker pork tacos
    Thursday – leftovers
    Friday – out
    Saturday – leftovers (use up anything left fro the week)

    Thursday: mediterranean cous cous salad with arugula
    Friday: eat out
    Saturday: take out

  8. Sunday-my 5 year old requested “outside salmon, not inside salmon”. I guess she meant grilled salmon. So we’re having that, roasted potatoes, and broccoli

    Monday-Chicken Pot Pie

    Tuesday-Spaghetti and Meatballs, Green Beans, Bread

    Wednesday-Slow Cooker Minestrone Soup, Crescent Rolls


    Friday & Saturday-Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Coleslaw, French Fries

    Yay for Spring Break! We’re going on to our 2nd week of Spring Break here. πŸ™‚

    Hubby is going out of town (n. Calif) to help my brother move right down the road from us (s. Calif)! So excited to have my twin 1-yr-old nephews close to us! Its just me & my lil guy for the rest of the week, so I let him pick the rest of the menu. Its very obvious choices from a 6-yr-old. πŸ™‚

    W: out for pizza after my son’s baseball game

    Th: tortellini w/ marinara/TX toast/salad

    F: chicken nuggets/Mac n cheese/apple slices

    Sa: take-out
    Hubby’s back & we’ll be helping my bro move in all day.

    Sloppy Joes
    Chicken Salsa Burritos – made in crockpot
    Pancakes or some kind of breakfast

    Beginning week 2 of spring break. Sigh… Of course I had big plans to get all my “stuff” organized during the break (since we wouldn’t have any homework to do) but my kids had other plans so, so far, my stuff is untouched. Maybe this summer??? πŸ˜‰

    It has been FOREVER since I have posted a menu, but I am trying to get back to it. I hope I remember how to put the links in right. Here’s what we are eating this week:
    Sunday– Shredded Pork Wraps
    Monday– Breakfast for Dinner
    Tuesday– Cheeseburger Biscuit Bake
    Wednesday– Poached Salmon and trying couscous for the first time!
    Thursday– Yakisoba
    Friday– Hoppin’ John
    Saturday– Chicken & Gnocchi Soup

    Tuesday-Salmon patties, mac & cheese, peas
    Wednesday-Grilled or broiled chicken breast, baked potato, green bean casserole
    Friday-Cheese pizza, carrot sticks etc.
    Saturday-Smoked chicken, salad, corn on the cob

    We just finished our spring break and we did nothing but relax by the pool (when the sun was out):)

    Mon – Harvest Chicken Stew, Ranch French Bread
    Tues – Ground Beef Stroganoff, Whole Wheat Pasta, Salad, Broccoli
    Wed – Lasagna, Bread, Salad
    Thurs, Hot Dogs, Mac & Cheese, Fruit
    Fri – Hawaiian Chicken, Rice, Salad
    Sat – Sun Dried Tomato Asiago Pasta, Strawberry Spinach Salad
    Sun – Leftovers

    Sun-Lemon & garlic roasted chicken, risotto with asparagus and mushrooms, angel food cake with caramel sauce
    Mon-Chicken fajitas, black beans & rice
    Tue-Fish, macaroni & cheese, salad
    Wed-Falafel, greek salad, pita
    Thu-Black bean soup, bread

    Going to try the creamy tomatillo dressing with the fajitas.

  16. Monday: Lemony Kale Pasta
    Tuesday: grilling chicken with one of Ben’s special marinades Wednesday: leftovers
    Thursday: Tasty Mexican Lentils [I’m obsessed]
    Friday: sandwiches or something quick before a dodgeball tourney at church πŸ™‚
    Saturday: breakfast for dinner
    Sunday: out to eat

    2. Breakfast for Supper
    3. Salad
    4. Chicken Enchiladas, rice
    5. Bree’s Lentil-Tomato Soup, crockpot rolls

    7. Leftovers from freezer

    I looked at our menu this week and realized that at one time this would have looked “fancy”. We have been eating these so long it now looks “normal” bordering on “same old/same old”. I’m ready for the summer meal options, things with fresh veggies and fruit.

    Tuesday: Beef Lentil Stew and Cheddar Scallion Scones
    Wednesday: Meat and Onion Turnovers and Salad
    Thursday: Flank Steak Tacos with Avocado Chimichurri Sauce
    Friday: Breakfast for Dinner–Pancakes and Eggs and Fresh Fruit
    Saturday: Avocado Topped Hot Dogs with Chipotle Cream and Fresh Veggies
    Sunday: Grilled Balsamic Skirt Steak with Corn Salsa and Cilantro Rice from The Recipe Girl

    Sun – Orange Chicken & Broc in the Crockpot
    Mon – Parm Flounder & Veggies
    Tue – GF Spag w Sausage & Marinara
    Wed – Chicken Tortilla Soup in the Crockpot
    Thu – Salad
    Fri – Steak w Mushrooms & Sweet Potatoes – trying to recreate a steakhouse dinner and cook real steaks at home which is something i’m sorta afraid of. Based on recipes i see….basically just add some butter at the end and the steak will be great :)~
    Sat – Maybe a recipe i see for Cream of Mushroom Soup w Brie
